Peix al cap: Pol

Peix al cap is a series inspired by my life in Barcelona and it opens a window into a topic about cultures and diversity.

We often see cultural differences as barriers, as things that separate us, when in reality they are what built the places we love so much. They create unexpected connections between lovers, friends, and entire communities.

I think we should learn more about each other and share more, regardless of where we come from. Maybe you’ll fall in love with the unknown.

The Mediterranean Sea has always been crossed by traders, fishermen, and pirates, carrying more than goods—bringing culture, language, and identity from one shore to another. Pol is from Barcelona. Raised by the sea and coming from a modest background, he dreams of what lies beyond the horizon. He carries a bacalao over his head - a symbol of the culture he carries with him.

Pol is one of three characters in this series, each bringing their own story, their own weight and their own flavor.
